How to Choose a home in Houston, Cypress, Sugar Land, Kingwood, the Woodlands, or somewhere in between can be quite the decision.

After 30 years in the Houston area, I recommend living near where you work unless you have specific requirements or desires. In Northwest Houston, Cyfair School District ( www.cfisd.net ) has attracted families due to the State Testing Scores for their Elementary, Middle and High Schools. The Houston area School District has exemplary Schools but has a reputation of being behind most of the suburban Districts especially when you get to the Middle and High Schools. In and around Bellaire and West University there are several Schools that have excellent reputation. As Realtors we are restricted on recommending Schools, so further information on Schools is ultimately the responsibility of home purchaser.
